    Midrange Stumble

Not saying that you would do this but I have seen people remove the carb/carbs, clean them thoroughly and then hook the same gas tank right back to the cleaned carbs........ Of course within a minute or two they are right back to where they started......

    Stolen trout

I've lost dead ducks to Eagles when they drift away but I've never lost a fish!!

    Bimini Top

I've had both, Bimini AND T tops, I much prefer a Bimini since it doesn't permanently alter my height requirement. Personally I feel the Bimini offers more shade and rain protection due to being "shorter" than a T top. But that's just ME......

    Another Adventure...

Kis, my condolences on the worms (they would have died anyway in the belly of a Bream) and congratulations on saving yourself. My outlook on cell phones: It's for MY convenience, I'll turn it on when I need it and not a damned second before. If you have called or texted it will still be there...

    gas or electric?

A guy on one of the smaller lakes I fish just got a new Merc Electric. I saw him come out of a cove and pulled beside him and we talked about it while running. Here's the "kicker:, he didn't have any way to measure speed so I took his phone and downloaded a speed app. He took the phone back and...

Millennium Marine B100 Boat Seat Project.

To ME vinyl is like sitting on a Teflon fry pan, ALL of my seats have heavy, breathable canvas and are really comfortable. I tried one of the Millennium's but didn't get the comfy "cushion" of my original seats. Once they "stretch" out they seem as hard as a brick....

    Bimini Top

Personally I wouldn't own a boat WITHOUT a Bimini, life's too short to bake your brains out while trying to have a little fun....

    Bimini Top

Carver Canvas in Greenville SC will build you a top using whatever hardware you want. You have to order through iBOATS, they will not sell direct any longer.....

Go Pro Cameras...Do you use one for fishing/boating?

I tried the filming and posting and found myself spending more time screwing with the GP than fishing. One day I said to myself, "what's wrong with this picture"?? So I opened a beer, pondered the situation, put the GP back in it's case and went back to FISHING. Posted the GP for sale, sold it...

    Inherited vintage outboard value?

Every once in a while the sum of the parts will exceed the value of the whole..... You may be at that point.

I promised them both a trip to the lake next week..... they seemed pleased....

    Electrical issue question

I have a FIRM policy about boats, unless I wired it I strip ALL wires out and rewire EVERYTHING myself. Always home run to my fuse panel, I never use in line fuses................ but that's just me...... Life is too short to chase electrical gremlins that someone else left behind..... And...

Coleman Crawdad.. with swamp runner mud motor.....

When I buy a boat I start a "file" and add all of the papers related to that craft. Titles, receipts, etc. etc. When I sell that boat it goes to the new owner, after that there's no telling what happens......

    Electrical issue question

Does your stereo have preset AM/FM stations? If so the memory pulls power 24/7.

Is the motor height going to be an issue?

I believe I suggested that solution in post 11 back in April......

    Pontoon yacht.

A lot of "houseboats" are actually built on a barge hull for the size and stability. At least that's what I have seen on most lakes in the mid west areas.

3" diameter Ram mount to be drilled down in the front deck of my VT18 Crestliner Question

Think about using RAM mounts. They have endless possible combinations and are much sturdier than they look. I used one on the Little Boat (it was the most logical choice) and am surprised by it. Glad I tried it...... DUH...... never mind.....

    cabin height & stability

"Cruise" several Marina's and see what's there for ideas..... The trip cruising them could be an adventure in and of itself......
