i used a combination of rivnuts,lots and lots of rivets and for securing my upper plywood deck i used sundeck vinyl and stainless screws.never had any back out.i used red threadlocker for all the rivnuts holding the lower deck and all the seat bases down.

someone threw three of those into our scrap metal pile at work.2 now sit on my either side of my trailer and 1 for a spare.there was absolutely nothing wrong with them.they appear to have come off of a large trailer because the platform is nice and big.they even have the marker lights on them.

on my last boat i attached the transducer to a length of 1"aluminum square tube and ran the cable up through it and attached it with a c clamp i had laying around.it lasted for years like that.

it's not so much the size of the boat but all the extra weight from the gear and batteries (3 group 31 agm's) probably well over 150# just in battery weight without gas tanks and fishing gear,anchors,cooler.i'm probably carrying close to 700 pounds in the boat when fully geared up with 2 people.my 1...

my last boat i used flex conduit from home depot and the clips and cable ties like the ones posted. the adhesive is not great so i used automotive trim adhesive tape from any autoparts store.it lasted for years.

i'm with ldubs.a quality cover with support poles and built in vents.they're normally a little thicker than the cheap ones as well.mine came with my boat package and is a really good trailerable cover,virtually no stretch in the wind.mine doesn't come with straps,it clips onto the bottom of the gunw...
