I started on the trailer first where it would be ready and i wouldnt have to take the boat off more than once.
I sanded the trailer down, primed it, then painted it.

Thanks, yeah the hull was in excellent condition, I didn't have to do anything except sand and clean it. I can't wait to get this thing done and get on the water. I have just about everything I need to finish except time. Everyday I plan to work on the boat something comes up and I have to stop what I am doing.

Good luck man...I just finished up a project like yours...I redid everything trailor up.....Its a 15ft tracker.....Check it out I have it on this site.1984 bass tracker restoration.

Finally making some more progress on my boat. I am putting the back deck back together first, i have all of the wiring in & the back deck will be finished by the end of the weekend. I decided to turn what was the original livewell (the green paint is zinc chromate) into a big cooler. I cut 1.5" foam and lined the entire box with it, put a drain in & siliconed everything, i will put HDPE in over the foam to finish it.

Slowly but surely. I think i am finally at a point where things are coming together. I have all of my lids made, floor down, & cooler and back storage in. Going to get hinges put on tomorrow and then finish sanding the boat and getting it ready to paint. All i will have left after the hinges is rod box, livewell, sanding, painting, & hyrdoturf. Here are some more progress pictures

I had to try some different ways to see what was going to give me the best look, once i figured that out it started coming together. Making the patterns have straight lines is what i am finishing up right now, and it is the most tedious thing i think i have ever did.

Ail » 28 Aug 2014, 05:42[/url]"]Looking like some sweet digital camo action going on there. Looks nice man. =D>

Thanks, i have spent so much time taping for the paint job its not funny! Probably 6-8 hours worth of just taping. Of course if i had to do it over again i could probably do it quicker.

Well i have got myself in the bind i said i wasnt going to get into. I sold my other boat this week and i have a tournament this sunday. [-o<

Theres no way i am going to have the boat finished like i want it by then but i plan on having it ready to hit the water. I have the paint job 99% finished and i have all of the electrical finished, lids have hinges & batteries are in the boat. I just dont have my rod box & livewell ready. I will be using a cooler for a livewell on sunday and my rods can just ride. Here are pictures of the 99% finished paint job. I also have to get new wheels or try and clean the ones on the trailer up a little, they look awful!

I dont have a really good place to mount all of my switches so i got creative and made one out of fiberglass. I took a plastic container, mixed some pigment in the resin and laid up the glass in the container to get the shape. It looks ok, if i had another container that looked better i think it would have turned out nicer.

Here are some pictures of the deck with lids, i used foam to bring the sides up flush with the lids. I will put a thin piece of aluminum over the top of it before the hydro turf goes down.
