I bought a G3 1544 that was a blank canvas like that. And after considering several different options I took it to Fish On Fabrication in Cartersville he did the whole boat all aluminum no wood and the electrical too. The price was fair and the quality was top notch. He is a sponsor of the site and goes by Bassboy

longshot

u r right - they do great work - I spoke to them when I had the 1436 - glad I didn't do that boat - I really needed a larger boat

your boat really looks good - like the front storage compartments they did

I have the floor boards built but haven't had the time to put the carpet on - BUT - we took it out fishing yesterday. The boat is great - nice and stable - the 87 6 HP pushed it along great - no speed demon but fast enough for a $300 investment
the new trolling motor worked great also.

now to get the carpet done and post some pictures

A little update = been hard finding time to work on the boat but got the removable floors done and the front seat mounted on the live well. Also got some of the front deck done - still have to treat the wood and then add carpet

I plan on mounting the battery up front and run cables back to a terminal block in the back to connect the trolling motor and fishfinder.

anybody know where I can find a nice terminal block
