I'm wanting to build a storage hatch in front of my console and stretch to the other side of the boat. Any one have any recommendations on how to build it. Maybe pictures of builds? Thanks!
 
Hard to tell from photo exactly what you want to do. I decked over about 3 feet of my bow, made storage under. Framed with aluminum angle, assembled with blind rivets and decked with MDO plywood. Cutout access hatch is held in place with rare earth magnets. If that's similar to what you want to do, I can post a couple of pics.
 
Post pic's if Ya can. I want to make a deck across the boat in front of the console,
