So I am "storing" this boat for my old man, he has his big boat so he doesn't use this one much so I am "storing" it. Haha.

So basic details, 14', 9.9 HP, transom mount trolling motor.

So first thing first.

Can I build a decent casting platform, 3/4" plywood, spanning 2'?

Yes, the first test pass this week and time for carpet now.

Did a quick layout of the hinge and latch handle. I moved the latch handle to the side more so my feet don't hit it.

That latch handle looks like one I seen at lowes or Home Depot, I have not found any latches like I want to use on my build. But I like the way you used that one on your mod.

Haha it is, its $3 so I couldn't complain.

So the floor is in, I have to finish up the panel below is the depth finder for all the switches and special stuff.
