Picked this old boat up a year ago and finally rebuilt it. 1648 monark flat bottom. I took the middle seat out, welded all the cracks, fixed the hole in the front and added plate aluminum to make it stonger. Installed foam and new aluminum floor.

Finished the boat and ended up trading it the next day for this boat. Bass Tracker Pro 17 with a 87 mod 40hp evinrude and a 82 60hp evinrude. The next project boat. I will start a new thread for this boat.

That diamond plate looked great! I like how you and some others have cut the seat out. I never thought about cutting it out but I will now lol. Congrats on the trade up!
 
Great job on the Jon.
But do yourself a favor, and get some 13" tires with at least a C rating for trailers. If your going to trailer the BASS TRACKER very much before the redo.

Thanks for the kind words. It was an easy build only a few hours invested in it. Looking forward to starting the tracker build. Already picked up a new trailer, bigger motor, and new console for it.
 
OK, where did you get the console was it through a company? I'm looking to replace the one I have in my 06 with something that has a lot more legroom.
