This is my 1985 Meyers super pro 14' that my dad and I have been working on for the past few months. Bought the boat, Trailer and 9.9 suzuki for $700. We put a new floor in. The framing is made of 2x3's and 2x2's that was water sealed and painted in deck paint. The main floor is 3/4" and the boxes are 1/2" plywood that was water sealed and painted in outdoor deck paint. We put blue led lights in the boxes and in the walls to light the floor up. We have a custom cover that should be ready by this weekend also. Should be done just in time to start catching some river walleye.

Im really jealous of all you guys with these big hulls to deck out, I have to worry about my deck pulling me to the waterline lol

Have you taken her out to see if she planes with the deck and stuff in board.

Havent had it out with the new setup yet. It had a deck before that was 3/4" and a couple boxes, so I don't think we added much more weight. With the 9.9 on and 2 ppl it planed out fine, but with 3 ppl it had trouble planing out at all. We're putting a 25 hp evinrude on it for when we fish the bay and lake.

Took the new 25 hp out today and ran great! Got it to go 25mph with my dad and I, 220 and 280 lbs. Planed out nice and quick.

I've been searching for some ideas for a re-bulid for my Meyer 14' pro, when I ran across your re-build, great job !!! I love the lay out and would like to do the same to my boat. Wondering if you could give me some more specifics on the build.

Thanks,
