I've done a search but, I've not found exactly what I'm looking for. If there's a post about it please post a link.

Sealed blind rivets or solid rivets for through hule situations?

High strength blind rivets for deck framing?

Stainless or aluminum or aluminum with stainless mandrel?

I have a blind rivet gun but, pneumatic solid rivet guns get expensive and I don't feel comfortable using a hammer and block.

Like all tools, it takes a little experience . . . .
practice on some scrap metal prior to getting into your boat project.

Depending on how much riveting is in your future, you may want
to invest in a pneumatic bucking tool.
DaleH turned me onto this little gem . . . the rivet tool is available
at Harbor Freight for under $15 and the bucking tools are from
Northern Tools (online only) $35. Well worth the investment if you are
going to be doing a lot of riveting on your boat - or your next boat.
and of course the common HF pop rivet gun is also very popular with
Tin Boat owners.

welcome aboard and enjoy the ride !!
