My old Evinrude is missing the sound deadening foam up under the engine cover. Anyone know what I can replace it with before I spend $50 from boats.net? Thanks guys

There's an adhesive mat used by car stereo installers that should work.

check out lowes in the insulation area for some FrostKing duct foil & foam insulation, has adhesive on it, will help but how much I don't know. I have used it in my car to help reduce some road noise when I installed some new speakers and amp.

dynamat is for stereo's. make sure what ever you put in there is for high temps or you could have a pretty serious problem.
