Anyone know where to source one from? Does anyone still make them? Are they worth it over their aluminium counterpart?

Ok, so I guess no one is making them. Would they be worth being made?? I know of a place that can turn uhmw, if there is a benefit over alu.

Could work. I wonder if they would get fuzzy from sand/gravel passing through it? I guess could test that with sandpaper and a cutting board.

Possibly, but on the flip side, Could you shim the impeller till it touches the liner and let it trim the liner on it's own? How critical is the 1/32 gap?

The 1/32 gap is pretty critical. Get it too tight and you may not be able to start your motor. I know of a few people that have had that happen. I really don't see the benefits of a uhmw liner??
