Ok, so I guess no one is making them. Would they be worth being made?? I know of a place that can turn uhmw, if there is a benefit over alu.

Could work. I wonder if they would get fuzzy from sand/gravel passing through it? I guess could test that with sandpaper and a cutting board.

You want the water to drain out of the foot if you're in freezing climate.

The 1/32 gap is pretty critical. Get it too tight and you may not be able to start your motor. I know of a few people that have had that happen. I really don't see the benefits of a uhmw liner??
