All the tin boats here that I have seen are around $1k. Even little 10' jons if they have their title and trailer fetch top dollar, like $700-800 minimum. Only boats that seem to go cheap are ones with no title or are trashed and I've learned my lesson on that. lol

I have a notarized bill of sale and the previous owner said he would be willing to come to the dmv if it would help, I heard if you register a boat as homemade they want pictures of the build and receipts and things of that nature and a fwc officer has to inspect it. When I try those HIN lookup sites mine doesn't show up as anything. Does yours show up when you search it? Or do boats before a certain time not show up in the database?
