I have been looking for a reasonable priced tin boat with a jet outboard for quite a while. But I have also contemplated just buying a regular tin hull (bass tracker, lowe, etc..) and then putting a jet outboard on it. My question is.....can this be done and what modifications have to take...

Bought and installed Bluewater LEDs from Bluewater. I have them in my 97 Skeeeter 185. Installed on the deck fore and aft, all storage compartments, live wells(yes waterproof), cockpit and gas tank area. Love them and don't know how I did without them for so long. :D

Well...I experienced the same thing for a long time. I can say that what "helped" was that I made sure to not hold the spool of line vertically rather than horizontally when you put line onto your reel. Hold the line spool like this ____ not like this I. Also.....buy a good line conditioner...

I am looking for a decent jet bass boat. At least a 30/40 outboard. I would like it to be at least 16' if not 18' in length. The bigger the better. It doesn't have to be a beauty queen. But the engine should be solid. Hit me up!

Also....you might get away with a 16' boat if you get a swing tongue trailer. If the trailer you get doesnt have a swing tongue..you might be able to make it a swing tongue very easily. Could make a difference in the long run. :beer:

I have owned EVERY layout imaginable. You want the most versatile layout as possible and there will be a time that you will want to utilize it in a an area that you didn't expect. My advice is to get a modified V layout or the widest flatbottom you can find. Try to get the widest beam...

I have 2 buddies that have this same boat....and bOTH of them had the same problem with pressure sending lines. I don't know if Tracker just put in shoddy lines or that this is just the first thing that fails? I don't know if Evinrude manufacture's the line or if its a 3rd party? but needless...

Man!!! I have fell in love with some of these rigs. Can't wait to get one of my own.
