Thanks psg. Your build along with rancheros and painless toms were my reading materials for a few months straight. Very helpful in putting this all together. Just had to adjust for lack of a welder but was able to make it work!

I took it out today and loaded down with gear and two 170lb people it managed 34.9 mph so maybe just a tad faster solo

@ranchero I was a little apprehensive but it worked better than i thought, if my 587 can pull one Im sure your 717 can.

its a 587 rotax so i think its about 50 hp. Speed is around 30. I haven't used the gps on it yet though
