Holy crap! I can't believe it! I'm done! Minus a couple loose ends as far as wiring goes but otherwise, she floats and runs like a top! And I caught a 4lber outta her today! I'm frigging ready to enjoy this.

DarynCashmark - Do you know the exact makeup of the factory console? It seems to me to be a fiberglass body wrapped with I'm guessing vinyl?? Mine is all cracked to hell n back and I'm about to start on it tomorrow. Did you simply fiberglass over what seems to me to be vinyl? Any input would be...

I've gotten alot done in the last few days! I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel! lol. I've gotten all of the leaks figured out and she's now bone dry while in the water. I welded all of the keel rivets up from the inside and also added gluvit for added peace of mind. Otherwise...

Man! That thing is gunna be frigging slick! Is that a rod locker in the middle? I initially wanted to add a rod locker in mine but opted to continue to strap them down. Those dingy rod tubes that came in the boat aren't good for much of anything. Again, looking awesome!

I finally got the transom sewed up! I found out last night how truly bad I suck at welding aluminum! Lol. It took a while, but I got it done. On to reassembling the rear deck and then alotta carpet. Can't wait!

You may be on to something there. Mine doesn't have that particular panel, but I remember it having a hinge and a lock clasp in that area and wondering wth they were for. I guess that's it

I believe that larger panel may be the where the left side of the console mounts. I have the exact boat and have everything out of it at the moment, I'd have to go mock everything up to be certain. There's a lot of frigging panels and whatnot in these boats!
