how fast should my 45 lb trolling motor push me

I was planning on placing my batteries in front of the front bench, but i am unsure of the best way to connect them to the motor. If i am running 2 or 3 batteries in a series, what kind of wire would i use to connect them to the motor and can i just run them along the floor?

    Chrysler 6 hp outboard?

I may be purchasing a early 80's 6 hp Chrysler outbard for $100, it runs good but i am wondering when something breaks or needs replaced how hard will it be to find parts for it? Is it still worth it buying this engine if it will be impossible to find parts for? Thanks

What is the best way to seal rivets on a Jon boat?

Perchin, could you tell me more about why you like steelflex. would it be easier than rebucking a bunch of rivets, where i can find it, how it is applied, and about how much it would cost for a 1236 jon? Thanks

They told me that it was a little pricey, kinda hard to apply, and began to flake off. But this is only what one of my friends told me, so they could have applied it wrong or something. What do you mean rebuck them?
