Use the aerator !!! I bought 4 dozen yesterday afternoon, didn't have my bucket with aerator and had them put in a small cooler...An hour later when I got home 22 were already dead...

I need some help on the trailer now... This one was set up for an older 12' V hull, now I need to get it as right as possible for this 14' semi-v... I'm thinking I need to move the bunks in a bit , inside the "runners" (are these splines? ) on the bottom of the boat , but that seems to put them...

Finally got everything wired and together for a test start..... Absolutely the GREATEST thing I've ever done for this motor that I've had since '82 !!!! Push the button and the motor starts !!!!! Before I lock everything down, I think I'm going to coat all the electrical connections with liquid...

Thanks again, Pappy ! I think I'll wait awhile to get to that.... I've got a feeling the shaft ends are probably worn out and a better shaft will be hard to find...

All the gears seem to be meshed correctly, they're both loose to the shaft... Is there any way to tighten this ? Doesn't seem so according to the parts diagram Or this one ?

So I'm still working on the electric start change over, and just kind of messing with things when I remembered how the throttle control seemed a bit slow responding... I changed the steering handle gear and shaft assembly a few years ago and it's still good...The inner shaft and gearing seems to...

Check your model # , a schematics drawing and parts list, and stay on ebay... I get most of my parts for my '79 9.9 Johnson there...Lots of the Johnson 9.9's used the exact same part for years...
