I just bought a new UL fenwick this summer. I hate using it. It's too short. Not being able to pick up slack line can cost you fish.

If your current knife is dull, buy a some sharpening equipment. I don't know what another dull knife will do for you.

just buy a new axle. it doesn't look like that thing has any seals on it? the hubs and spindles on a "regular" boat trailer are replaceable so you don't get so busted down with no way to fix.

I have a boat that style and shape. I'd mock up whatever you are planning and test it in the water before you make it glorious. You're already missing the flotation foam and the bracing of the middle bench seat. A deck even the height of the benches in the front is hard for me to walk on...

You see more small boats modified because they're easy to pick up for a couple hundred $. In some areas 16's are a lot cheaper but there aren't a lot of them in Iowa. I found out this summer! There are some but the asking price for even a dumpy one is $1k here. It's easier to take a risk...

Hello all. I bought a tinny recently and the guy used what looks like treated lumber. There's what looks like rust in the back where water sits that can't get out the plug hole. Is that the corrosion?
