I don't have pictures of everything because I found this website after I had already framed the boat. I learned a bunch throughout the process and will be modifying as my finances will allow. Feel free to ask any questions and any advice is much appreciated!

Without adding the additional crossbar how will I support the front of the 2x4? Or are you saying to center the 6' 2x4 on the back crossbar? I've thought about centering and my concern is that after it slides the 3 foot toward the catch it will nose down and be back to metal on metal.

How did you attach the 2" aluminum to the boat without adding additional holes? Or did you and just reseal? I framed the inside of my boat with wood before doing my research, I'm much more fond of the metal frame idea.. Much more durable. Also, can the 2" aluminum be bought from any normal home...
