No I know about the chemical reaction between aluminum and PT wood from reading other post on these boards. I am leaning towards using BCX plywood.

In some of the photos the carpet covered panels look like the edges were rounded over. Is that common or is the carpet used to soften the edges of the plywood? Thanks again for everyone's help.
The outboard is a 1994. The title was lost so I am waiting for the replacement. Those photos look exactly like my boat. Thank you!

1/2 inch. I plan on replacing the foam which will help support the deck so I thought that 1/2 inch would be OK. Went back today and it is now 9 bucks a sheet. At that price I could double it up if 1/2 inch is not good enough.
