    Auto PFD

So I always wear a PFD at dark but I tend not to when boating in daylight hours. So I found an auto/manual PFD by onyx at academy for $60 in the hope that I'm more inclined to wear it full time. It seams like a good price. I also find it funny the camo ones are a lot more expensive.

1652 vpt Lowe Roughneck no wood in transom

So that is a picture of the inside of the transom. I am switching from a clamp on style motor mount to a bolt through application. But there is no wood to bolt through. I am going to just bolt through those cross supports and that should work. I measured and they do line up with the BIA...

16ft Lowe Roughneck 1653vpt. 15 hp 4 str Merc very slow.

I just recently purchased my first boat. It is a 16ft Lowe Roughneck 1652vpt. and 2006 15 hp 4 str Merc. I took it mild winds and water that was wasn't glass but it wasn't choppy either. SO after I got it started, warmed it up I was on my way. I get in try and get on plane. No luck. We only had...
