Should I fix it or leave it alone?

Should I fix this or leave it alone. I have checked the rivets for leakage. None were found. If I fix it, what's the simplest solution. According to the PO the damage has been there for 10 years. Thanks

this might be a stupid question

yes it is pricey....that's why I was looking to get an average amount from others who have built with alum framing. Lumber is easy to return and cheap to buy. Either way, I'm going to order a bunch this week and if its enough then its enough and if it isn't I'm sure I can find a good use for it...

I have read a lot about 3/4" marine ply that is laminated together but I have a connection with a small lumber mill that could mill me 1 piece of hard wood, oak or something similar. then I could seal it like normal...

    Transom Help

Glad I'm not the only person that was having trouble filtering through all the posts about transoms. There needs to be a section in the forum that specifically covers certain things in depth, example: how to rebuild a transom, cleaning and painting a hull, polishing aluminum or how about the...

    1st project....14ft clipper

Thanks guys! I appreciate the welcomes.... I got it gutted alittle today. hit it with the pressure washer to knock some of the grime off of it. The boat has an interesting history about it. Its 14ft long and 54 inches at the base, it has a badge on the side that says clipper.....And that's about all I know about it. Can anyone give me more info on this boat? Got a pretty good deal on it, but as you can see it needs a new transom to start with. Ill gut it in the next few days then...
