Thank you , forgive me as I'm not sure what or witch part the timing plate is ... I also don't know how or what to use to lube the joints .... When I twist the grip, starting at ideal there is no resistance till its turnd mabie 20% then that's when the cable starts moving things creating...

OK guys I'm going to try and explain this problem ..... My 2002 Jhonson j10te4sn will not ideal , I feel like it runs great but after I get it started I can't get it to ideal down enough to safely shift in gear with out a terrible clunk . when in gear and full throttle it runs like a champ...

I was wandering if there was a website that has old boat dealer brochures with difrent options you could get on your boat or owners manuals or even just pictures pointing out new features .... im mainly intrested in Fisher Marine late 70s ... its really hard to find any info at all ....

iv got a dumb question, so i have a 77 15ft fisher marine "fisher" mostly still factory ..... so its just got a blue " im guessing vinal sticker" pin stripe along the water line .. my question is .... did or do boat companys put a clear coat on the boats or is it ok to try to polish and maybie...

hay guys i just bought my other boat about amonth a go and i need some help .. i have a 15' 77 fisher marine " fisher" flat bottem boat and i have tracking on both gunnels but i can not find any thing to fit into it ... ill post pics later today... about all i can find is "versatrack" stuff...
