    Charging my deep cycle questions

You should never fully discharge your deep cycle battery. You should actually charge it after every use to get the longest life out of it. I recommend on board first, or trickle charger/ maintainer for a lower cost solution.

    Fish finder interference

The are actually wired separately already. The motor has it's own wire going directly from the transom to the batteries. Only probably 6 feet total. All the other 12 v stuff I have run together. Not much in total...radio, nav lights, horn, courtesy lights. Decided just to go with a small...

    Fish finder interference

Thanks for the input guys. I put it on a small battery and it works fine. I'll have to give HB a call to get ther recommendation. I'd like to keep it on the main batteries if possible since they are on inboard chargers.

    Fish finder interference

I just got a new pontoon boat and put a 48v electric Parsun motor on it. I wired up the rest of my 12 v stuff to one of the batteries in the series. It all works fine, but my HB 798 c si isn't working right. It has all kinds of interference. If I turn off the 48 v it works just fine. But if...

    Bowfishing for a beginner

Thanks guys, my bow was an old compound bow that I had set around 60-65lbs for whitetail hunting. I know people usually crank them down so I did but I'm not sure exactly where it is currently. Guessing in the 40 range. I bought the AMS setup just like in the previous pictures so I'm guessing...

    Nussy's PonTIN boats

Yeah, I've been thinking about trailers. This would work for boat one. but I'd have to have bunks for boat 2 because of the storage. For me it's not a big deal because it's just going to sit at the lake I live on. If I need to move it a standard snowmobile trailer or flat bed would work.

    Nussy's PonTIN boats

Well, I got boat #2 almost complete. Deck on, Hatches Installed, Seats and Pedestals, Edge Trim. All that's left is some wiring, and maybe some cleats, handles and the motor. Also thinking about adding a short railing.

Who should be next??? Try to be impartial people...lol

I like the glass boat if the hull is solid. But that hole in the floor scares me. Both have potential.

    Bowfishing for a beginner

Ok guys, I'm reviving this thread as I just setup my bow for bow fishing and I know absolutely nothing about it and I have no friends that do it. I bought the AMS bow fishing setup that I put on an old compound I had. Is there anything else I need besides just the bow setup? I have a few...
