    Battery on floor in bow

Would it be better to just put the battery in the stern and run some 4/0 wire to the tolling motor?

    Battery on floor in bow

I am thinking about mounting a battery in the bow of my boat. I saw Tin Man posting about the same thing and some of the recommendations was to mount it directly on the hull. Would mounting the battery directly to the hull in the front cause any issues with the hull from the weight of the...

Trim and tilt vs Jack plate

I have a 15ft SeaArk. The 25hp motor I purchased does not have power trim and tilt. I noticed I can shift my weight a little forward or aft and make the boat stop porpoising. With this hull being so flat I don't see things getting better by trimming all the way down during the times the rough...

    Mounting 2020 Merc 30 EFI on 2021 Lund SSV-16

I think you are really close to where it needs to be. I don't think you will need to lower it. Try it where it is now then try it using the top hole and see which one performs better. The telling sign is where the cavitation plate is in relation to the water's surface while you are on plane.

Fixing motor safety issues on used Yamaha

This is the wiring color diagram. but I did notice the black wire on the back of the switch is not connected to anything which doesn't make sense to me as it should be the ground wire but maybe it is for the kill switch? This diagram might explain the black wire:

Fixing motor safety issues on used Yamaha

I bought a boat that came with a 2000 Yamaha F25. The previous owner converted the push start to a key and removed the kill switch from the tiller. The key switch is a Yamaha switch made for larger Yamaha's. It looks like part # 6X4-82510-00-00. I don't mind the key as it provides a little bit...

    SeaArk repair recommendations needed

Pulled the flooring. Other than needing a cleaning it looks good. Only rust I’ve really seen was on the bathroom door latch that was used for bow access. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mounting fuse block and battery disconnect

I plan on putting a fuse block and a battery disconnect on my bot but I do not want to drill into the aluminum to mount them. In the past, I purchased a plastic trim board and mounted it to a fiberglass console using Bondo fiberglass resin. That way I could drill into the trim board without...

    New Member Introductions!

Hello. I live in Tallahassee, FL. I just recently bought a SeaArk that I plan to use on the salt flats in the big bend area of Florida. An aluminum boat is needed in this area due to all the oyster bars and rocks.

    SeaArk repair recommendations needed

I just picked up a 2008 SeaArk. It was used in freshwater but unfortunately, the south's ******* community got ahold of it. There are numerous very small screw holes in the top of the boat. What is the easiest way for a non-welder to fix these holes and apply a rattle can paint job over the...
