I bought a cheaper shimano last summer for my first baitcaster and there are some pretty good videos on youtube that helped me learn good luck.I only use baitcasters now for bass fishing

Ok guys I dont really know much about gas powered motors.Heres my question I have a 85 8 horse johnson motor for my 14 foot semi v 48 wide.I have been kicking around the idea of getting rid of the 8 horse for maybe a 50 lb thrust trolling motor would I see a big difference in speed or power...

I have just finished the paint on the bottom of the boat.I let it set for a few weeks with the etching primer only to give it a chance to fully dry and really cure up fully then a light sand with 400 grit really gave me a good base for the paint to be applied over.
