when i removed the benches that were riveted to the hull i took an angle grinder and cut the bench as close to flush witht the boat sides as possible.

i run my limp lines weightless if the current isnt to strong. i have found that native fish to the river, lake, ect make the best bait. in the early spring you will have great luck within a few feet of the shore with the dead fish you find along shore that died from the ice during the winter...

try your local car audio shop. they will have lots of different awg sizes in any lenght you could desire.

i like that 596c di hd unit. i really dont need a gps unit. well maybe not. can you save points on these units with the gps? that would let me get rid of my hand held gps unit.

if your planning on using a transome mount motor on the bow of your boat chances are you gonna have to swap the control handle around. its a simple fix. ive done this once before and have had no problems. as far as that mount youve posted i cant help you with.

I'm gonna look into using a valve like the one in the link. I'm gonna see if I can find one at the local auto salvage yard. I know that a lot of the 70s ford trucks had dual tanks and ran a valve next to the drivers seat. Thanks for the input guys I never would have thought of the valve on my own.

i was thinking about the "Y" thing. i was just wondering if anyone has done or tried anything similar to this. i wanna try to moutn the tanks under a semi permanate deck. i will buy a single bigger tank if needed i am just trying to save money for other things
