motor height setup - mini-jacker install. Looking for speed!

It didn't flex. If your transom flexes you need to fix that. I had to lower it down a bit 'cause the prop slipped too much. I don't have pictures, but iirc I lowered it 2 holes.

Here are the pics of the thing all bolted up. Here you can see a shim and why it was needed.

motor height setup - mini-jacker install. Looking for speed!

I finally got the $@#&*! mounted! Some projects go smoothly with everything falling in to place, and this was not one of them. Finding the SS hardward to mount it was tough and very expensive. I spent over $50 at lowes for the bolts, nuts and washers. I painted the plywood insert that came...

motor height setup - mini-jacker install. Looking for speed!

Mine is hooked up to the tell tale, here's where I asked about it on iboats: https://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=513597 I only got 8 psi at wot, but the water pump on this motor had never been changed  and I haven't put in the restricting nipple. I put in a new pump last night...

Now sporting 3 batteries in the boat...

If they're the same then you can treat them as 1 big battery, if they're different they can over+under charge. If you think they might be different it'd be safer to charge them seperate. Not that together is "dangerous," just that they may not last as long due to one getting overcharged and...

Performance prop for 25+ hp outboards! Merc Spitfire

I'm thinking of trying a Solas Amita 4 blade prop on mine. They're just a little more expensive and should have more bite. I want to run my motor as shallow as I can get away with. Anyone here try one?

Now sporting 3 batteries in the boat...

Should be just fine. Just disconnect and charge them seperatly is the main thing. What's your setup for trolling for bass? I've been thinging of trying that myself but I've never really trolled before.

Now sporting 3 batteries in the boat...

Hi yall, 1st post here. Not ready to ask about my boat yet but I have a couple of comments here: 1) Batteries in parellel should be the same: same brand/rating/age/etc. If not the stronger one will always try to charge the weaker one, and burn up juice in the process. If it doesn't perform...
