    Does anybody have a chart to tell what years of QD 10HP johnson series interchange. I have a QD-13(1952) i would like to change power heads to a QD-15(1954) until i can rebuild the QD-13. From the looks of the lower end the QD-13 has more access points. Don't know if this has been discussed...

    18HP Evinrude Fastwin Lower Unit Lube

    same thing happened to my qd-15. Gear lube came out looking like a vanilla shake. Seals are in order. someone tried there hand at some blue rtv. Quick fix, but top seal failed and pickup tube seal was cracked sucking in water till it cant hold any more. Thank goodness the brass didnt guald.

    Thanks pappy, I've got to replace the center gasket and was hoping that there weren't surprises waiting. Got bubbles coming out of the sides when running. Going to replace the seals while I'm at it.
