    throttle and gear shifter relocation

    Has anyone here ever made a throttle and shifter control for the old Johnson. It has the connections on both sides for the cable hook-up but the ship master controls are a bit pricey and the cables are to. Here in Tennessee we call it redneck engineering. Any thoughts from all you old salts...

    QD-13 and QD-15 top end interchangeability

    Does anybody have a chart to tell what years of QD 10HP johnson series interchange. I have a QD-13(1952) i would like to change power heads to a QD-15(1954) until i can rebuild the QD-13. From the looks of the lower end the QD-13 has more access points. Don't know if this has been discussed...

    1952 johnson QD-13 10 HP fuel line diagram

    I can only get the bottom cylinder to fire, swapped the coils out and no difference. The points are opening at.20. anybody have an idea what is the problem.

    QD-13

    Anybody have a good carburetor pic i can look at.It seem that the prop engagement safety tab and the throttle stop are not aligned properly. Any help would be appreciated.
