any help is appreciated i cannot for the life of me get my stencils too lay across the sides of my boat the reinforcing ribs on the side are killing me

Tape the top down and use a heavy wire or cut coathanger bent into an L shape to hold the stencil down tight to the boat as you paint from the top towards the bottom.

It's a tedious process.

I have also heard of guys using the 3M stencil adhesive on the back of them to stick to contours.
