My G3 has wood under the aluminum on the point of the bow for attaching the TM. Mocked up the TM, marked the holes. Drilled a pilot hole then drilled a 1/4 hole. Put the isolators in. Then bolted own the trolling motor. The isolator bolts are pretty slick.
