I'm a newbie

Hello everyone. I've been viewing this site for about the last month or so. I recently was given my grandfathers alumacraft 1436 jon boat and I wanted to get all the info I could about mods for the boat. I do a lot of saltwater fishing. I would really like to make a lot of storage space, rod holders, and any suggestions anyone might have to help me in with this project. Here are the pictures of the boat.

storage areas??? I ended up making a list of what I planned on keeping on my 1436, with that I took measurments to come up with a generic size over all on the compartments, most of all I ended up using the wal-mart plano big 3" deep boxes for plastics(I throw them mainly) so I ended up with this in the middle for me

If ya intrested I'll pull up how I did it, I also made a storage area up front under the deck i made. I still wish I had more storage :lol:

:WELCOME: aboard! I would recommend looking through many of the mods on this site and getting ideas. Then from there fire away with the questions. I spent about 2 months looking through others projects getting ideas before I started mine.
