Hey all I bought four of these a while back and put them in my 16 foot Grumman. They have held up to monster Red fish and sharks so since I am frugal aka cheap I am putting them in the new tinny also and thought I would give a short review.

The mounting nuts, bolts and washers are stainless steal.
Here is the base installed.

Boy it just never feels right drilling holes in a boat!!
Ok when tightening down on the base care must be taken not to over tighten due to the base, it is hollow and if over tightened it will distort the aluminum. Also it needs to be mounted as close to the top railing as possible to give the rod holder clearance.

Rod holders in place.

The only negative I have for the rod holders is the red liner will roll out when using the large butted foam covered offshore rods. But for the price kind of hard to complain.
Lastly snipped the excess off the bolts and cleaned them up with the die grinder.

Overall I am 100% satisfied with the price and performance of these rod holders.
