I purchased a Lock N’ Stow for my boat and finally had a chance to put it on to see if it would actually fit. The particular Lock N’ Stow I purchased from Amazon was the model 10108. I was hoping it would be a solid fit for my 115 HP Mercury outboard, and it was. The unit is small and solidly built. To me, this was worth the $66 dollars.

The Tohatsu 5hp LPG is a propane powered outboard. What do you think of this? There are advantages, but are there disadvantages? You can always bring a portable bbq grill with you on the boat now. I like the idea of ultra-low emissions and supposed no power loss, is that true? Will Tohatsu and others turn to propane for bigger outboards?
