Hi.I am new to this forum and appreciate all the usefull info i have been reading.I recently came across this old jon boat and plan on fixing her up.Some of the boats on here are pretty awesome and i hope mine will turn out half as good.I plan on painting the boat and building some decks.Adding wood floors and creating storage under the decks.Mabey adding a livewell somewhere.I have no motor to put on yet but eventually will have a 9.9hp or a little bigger.The boat is a 1965 model and has no plate in it but i am assuming i could go as high as 25hp.I will post pics and plan on posting as i work on her.Had her in the water and she dont leak a drop so im thinking this will be a great boat for a first project.
