It is an old 1448 Gregor. I am currently getting 12mph I think it's a 9.9hp can I go bigger

And it starts first pull great motor! ( worn prop) though I have a two blade and a three blade, both are used

You certainly can go bigger. My 12 ft. Gregor was rated at 15 hp (1979), but i found my 9.9 was plenty. If there is still a data plate on the transom, it might have the max hp rating.
