I picked this 1979 smoker craft 16 up from my local boat dealership last year for $200. I have been slowly getting it rehabbed and read for the water. It had a blown motor on it, and I just so happened to have a motor laying around that fit the bill.

Big transformation happening. The new layout sure looks crisp & clean.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea why someone put that floor register thing between the original consoles?

Lol, that question has been asked by many people. My guess is for air flow below the floor?

That is one heck of a boat for that price! Was the trailer included too?

In what condition was the foam? I don't see any new stuff going in.

Yes trailer included, with 3 new tires. No foam under the floor, it's all above.

Front seat doesn't have the pedastal under it yet.

Layout looks awesome! And very well done!

Keep us posted on how that floor product lasts. Front seat looks low ... does it rise on a pedastal???
