Hey everyone bought this little 12’ what I believe to be a Starcraft not sure what model or year and the trailer for $250 but it didn’t have a title ...I can’t find anything on weight limit or motor size anywhere on the boat ...only identifying marks are the sticks on the sides....any info would be helpful so I can get this mod underway

Missing the front seat just begs for a small floorboard to be installed. Originally rated for 7.5 hp. Probably fine with a 9.9. I run a 4 hp on mine and it is a great little small water boat that is fairly stable.

Mine is a little older and was in worse shape. Here is the link to my refresh over the winter if you’re interested.

Yeah I was thinking about a small front deck and maybe some raised floor but I don't want to put too much stuff on it. I actually like the way yours turned out. Plain and simple

So I started the destruction phase. I took all the broken lights and old wiring out. Then I took the old seats out, all the bolts were rusted together and I had to get bolt cutters to get most of them out. I took the transom boards off and decided to try a couple of different ways to start removing the old paint, any advise on paint removal would be gladly taken. Also do I really need the foam under the sits if I’ll not planning on adding much weight. I feel like it would make it easier to install the raised floor.

Got to spend a couple hours working on it today we got most of the paint out of the inside of the boat. I talk the kids into helping a little. I’ll take some free labor anytime I can get it

I know it’s been awhile but it’s been a slow process and once I got it painted and registered I started fishing out of it but here is some of the process and what it looks like now still not completed but it floats and fish have been caught in it

Nice color combo!

To edit a post, there is a icon in header that looks like a pen. When that opens up you can manage images/attachments from there.

It's good to have a nice looking boat. It's even better to have kids fishing out of it. 20 years from now they will say "I remember fishing out of the red boat with you, dad".
Good job.
