Livewell pumps

Do I need to be concerned about bilge/livewell pumps and aerators during the freezing months? Not sure if they are designed to handle this type of weather, or if I should just plan on not using them during the winter or what?
 
I wouldn't think it would be a problem as long as no water is left standing in them...

where are you located though? someone might know better than me since I live in Georgia where we hardly have any hard freezes like that

lol....ya don't have to rub it in :mrgreen:

I would be concerned of any water left in the pumps (since they can't pump-out 100% of the water), and any tubing that might have a dip/sag in it. Might check into some RV anti-freeze (propolyene glycol, not ethelyene) , getting a shot of it into your pumps & lines. You can flush things out prior to use.
