Hello, not sure if this is where I can ask for the opinion of others as for which project to pursue. I currently own have 2 boats that i own.
I'm wanting to fix one and sell the other but cant definitivley decide because theyre both nice hulls.

1 is a riveted 14' valco with a 48" floor and a V bow.
The other is an older (1940s?) welded 16' vio holda jon boat with a 42" floor.

I really wanna get one of these set up for fishing mainly bays and harbors. A big chunk of me is leaning towards the 16' because its welded and a heavier gauge aluminum. But id really like to ask the opinion of others who might have more experience than I do.

Thanks a bunch :D

I'm a fan of the extra width. I used to have a 1032 and whoohoo.. she was exciting. lol

Width plus V hull sounds like a better option for bigger water like the bay. Still plenty for two adult anglers.
