Its the old narrow one.
I have a 9.9 mercury pushing it.

I am concerned about weight and stability.

I dont know where to start? Do I weigh all the materials and compare to the specs of the boat?
 
I think about all the modding you can do on a narrow boat would be limited to adding floors - stability is the big concern, especially if you plan on standing to fish.

Before I go much further, how wide is the floor of the boat measured on the inside? If you say it's narrow, I'm assuming its 32", and is a flat jon boat.
