Friends,

I'm looking for a recipe for a supposedly "typical" recipe (I've had it in several places, when I was stationed at Ft Sill, OK on catfish) for frying fish that I've been told by several people is called: OKLAHOMA FISH DIP.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about and are willing to share the recipe?

thanks, satx

Here is a recipe I found online claimed to be an okie recipe. May not be it but would not hurt to try. I usually just use 2 parts cornmeal, 1 part flour, salt and pepper and thats it.
Tim

1/3 cup milk
½ cup cornmeal
1 large egg
½ cup flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Enough for 4 channel cat filets.
