It's starting to cool down here so I though I would make some chili Sunday. My old system can't handle the real hot spicy stuff anymore so my recipe is fairly mild. Eats good and is better everytime you warm it up. The wife and I get at least 3 meals from it.

I'll have to try this recipe but with 1/3 of the beans you used.
 
If you smash 3/4 of the beans they serve as a thickening agent and make a more healthy chili. I usually use about 4 pounds of beans to 3 pounds of meat. I bet you no beans guys would not be able to tell they difference once it all melds together.
 
Sounds like a good recipe. Snow is flying n getting deeper here. Pot of chili is on the stove simmering now.
