Hi all...here's the rod holders I made up the other day for the boat. They fit into the oar holder deals. They work pretty slick and are fully adjustable got the main design after searching the web and modified it to my liking...maybe this will help some out there.

Material list:

4" piece of PVC
3/8" threaded rod
2 3/8" flat washers
1 3/8" lock nut
1 3/8" wing nut

Simple, yet functional. Looks great and reminds me to make a few in the next couple of days for river fishing next week.

Here's another quick easy do-it-yourself rod holder that costs around 8 bucks, and only has four peices and one solvent weld! The rod holder remains adjustable for direction where is screws into the bushing, and can be screwed in and out of the base easily and everything is light weight plastic except for the galvanized base, which is fairly flush when the holder is removed.

1 1/2" Wye = $1.95
1 1/2" to 1/2" bushing = $1.13
1/2" x 18" pvc riser (in irrigation system accessories) = $1.16
1/2" galvanized floor flange = $3.78

Total: $8.02
