Anybody out there know what kind of boat this is?

Hello, Hopefully someone will know what the mfg of this boat is?
The only thing I know is that it is 16 feet long and 48" wide and the year is 1981. The lady said she will sell both boat and trailer for $600 so I am really interested in redoing with new paint/mods etc.









This boat if I buy it will only be used for electric only lakes in California. So I don't have to worry about an outboard motor. Since this is my 1st boat purchase other than a coleman crawdad I am a bit nervous. The condition of the boat does not look good but I am guessing if it does not leak then I should be good to go. I am going to strip it and get rid of the console as well. Any advice on buying a boat like this would be greatly appreciated. What should I look for when inspecting this boat? I wish they could fill it up halfway with water tonight to see if had any leaks but am unsure if I can ask them. I am going to drive 40 miles to see it tomorrow.

Part of the HIN number will tell you who the manufacture is. The HIN number should be on the title and on the outside of the hull on the transom. Does the seller have the Title? It's really important to have the title.

Yes she has the title. Thanks for the info about the HIN #. I am driving down there today to take a look at it. So I will know soon. I will post later with some info.
