There's a guy building something similar on THT but his is a tunnel hull with a diesel engine, its a tank, but will serve him well I'm sure.

Look up, Hey.... I'm building a boat from scratch.....

beautiful boat. I've been watching this guy on youtube ..... you'll probably enjoy it too... tons of episodes and info.

Great looking boat. Could you run on back and post a few photos of the whole thing from a few feet away? Any other pictures would be nice also.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I am mighty proud of her. She is just under 18ft long and around 8ft wide. She is also very light for her size at 500lbs hull weight!

This is a great link. I watched several episodes. Very entertaining and the guy knows his stuff -- well, I'm not too sure about putting a circ saw blade on an angle grinder but even he admitted maybe not everyone should do that.

Nice boat you have there. Very professional craftsmanship. Good job.
Thank you very much! I'm gonna splash her next week as soon as I get my registration numbers Friday.
