Setup - Chocks are on each side and forward of my bow cleat, which is centered towards the back of my bow deck, maybe 18" from bow to the rear edge of that deck.
Issue - I like to put my lights on a base, so if a line misses the chock whilst the line is under a load, that line won't snap across the deck and take out my light. Plus I like the light to be elevated a bit off the deck.
Solution - Hockey puck ... stoopid simple to drill and mount the LED light to too. Works, totally water/weatherproof, keeps the light above the height of the cleat and chocks ... doesn't look too bad ... and well, for $1?
