She's been in the garage since October, and I've done a lot to her. I've run out of ideas on what to do next. Goal is to make a river cruiser/fast jon/fun jon. Any ideas? I have attached pics from yesterday.

Laugh if you will but I fabricated a extended (about 5 foot) ski pylon for my jet jon.

My wife still wakeboards (obviously no air involved here) but I sold the ski boat since I gave that back-breaking habit up.

Anyways it works fine, used heavy duty tie down straps to bow & stern to make it strong & safe.

Can I see a pic of that ski pylon, CedarRiver?

About fishing - I used to fish, but I got bored with it. My son is about to turn 3, and I think I'm going to get him into fishing, and rekindle my interest in it too. We're going to start back at it again. I do enjoy fishing.

Good point about the trailer rims. I'll put that on my to-do list.

Lights, anchor mate, and stereo are all good ideas. I will mill that over. Thank you!

About the twin 200s - it wouldn't be unheard of. A friend-of-a-friend snapped this picture the other day - twin Evinrude G2 175s on a SeaArk.

I have seen a guy in the everglades that runs twin jets on his jon boat. I wanted to get a picture but never did.

About fishing - I used to fish, but I got bored with it. - I want to switch from fishing to catching, I think it would be much more interesting.

Maybe add a trolling motor?

Boat looks perfect.

Trolling motor would be my suggestion also.

I'd consider a installing a spot light on the boat also.

Trailer lights are LED or regular bulbs?

Trailer lights are regular bulbs, but honestly I don't even hook up the trailer lights. The ramp is only about a mile from my house, in a very rural area.

I have a handheld spot light. Are you guys talking about a non handheld type?

Obviously, it's not a necessity, but nice to have for launching and boating in low light conditions
Something like this:

Enlarge the front deck, w/ tent capability so you can lake camp, as you gave up fishing.

If you're thinking about how to expand your boating adventure to include other things like diving or camping, this guy is a total inspiration to me. Every video he does is magic imo.... Obviously not Indiana.... but you could probably find something in them to inspire a Hoosier style adventure with your son...
