I'm trying to determine the date of manufacture of a new-to-me Alumacraft Boat. Based on the dimensions I believe it is a Model K, however I don't yet know which year. It is titled as a 1974, however the Hull ID Number is hand-etched and does not match any Alumacraft naming convention (at some point a prior owner scratched a few numbers into the transfer so that they could get a title).
One distinguishing feature is that mine does not have a bow eye - from looking at the catalogs, this might make it a pre-1971? Does anyone know what year they introduced these?
